Oakley Valley Stone quarries were born in 1948 in Oakley Idaho. The operation has grown from a shovel and wheelbarrow operation in 1948 to a full scale producer and fabricator of quartzite stone. Some of the earlier achievements include supplying complete product for the Las Vegas Riviera hotel and casino, and the world famous Dove Canyon gold course in Rancho Santa Margarita California.

In 1968 the company was incorporated and began to make the first shipments to Europe. The European markets were ripe for the quartzite material and have been a continuous source for quartzite sales. The material has been easily exported to the Caribbean, Canada, and Japan, as well as several cities in the United States.

In 1989 the company completed and achieved several patented deeds from the U.S. Government. This was critical to the operation as all material mined by the company is now mined on private property, owned exclusively by Oakley Valley Stone Inc.

Our fabrication plant has grown into a major fabricator of quartzite stone tiles and thin veneers, making installation of quartzite much easier along with expanding and defining the applications of quartzite products.

After three generations of family ownership the corporation has emerged as one of the leading quartzite suppliers and fabricators in the quartzite industry.
